A STUDY ON BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING RELATED TO COASTAL AND OFFSHORE ENGINEERING

The excellent mechanical properties of UHPC are mainly achieved by the use of a high amount of energy-intensive raw materials like Portland cement or micro steel fibers. Ultra-high performance concrete has a discontinuous pore structure that reduces liquid ingress, significantly enhancing durability compared to conventional and high-performance concretes. UHPC is being considered for use in a wide variety of highway infrastructure applications. The present paper discusses on off shore and coastal building material used by engineers.

GEARING UP FOR THE NEW NORMAL: ASSESSMENT ON THE SATISFACTION OF GRADUATE STUDENTS’ PERCEPTION ON ONLINE LEARNING

The novel coronavirus triggered the educational institutions globally to pursue innovative approaches on relatively short notice, and during this time, most universities shifted to online platforms. The educational institutions’ closure in response to the COVID-19 led to several issues was affecting access to education. As cited by (Gopal et al., 2020) [3], the closure of educational institutions has an obscure impact on students’ performance. Moreover, school closure may also affect students due to the disruption of teacher and student’s network, leading to poor performance and low satisfaction. Bridge (2020) stated that schools and colleges are moving towards educational technologies for student learning to avoid constrictions during the pandemic. Several institutions go for online classes (Sehzadi et al., 2020), as UNESCO recommends distance learning programs and open educational applications during school closures due to COVID-19.

DELIVERY OF SMALL-SCALE RESTAURANT ON SAFETY AND SANITATION: IT’S RELATIONSHIP TO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, people are stuck at home and trying to limit their contact outside their environment. The main reason the demand for delivery service became on the rise was for customers to minimize the contact during the virus outbreak and lessen the risk of them being infected. This study aims to identify factors of safety & sanitation that affects customers’ satisfaction in ordering food from the small-scale restaurant. The importance of this topic is to evaluate establishments responsiveness and implementation of proper food handling amid pandemic depending on the level of customer satisfaction. This is also to formulate recommendations to the specified establishment in terms of providing delivery services, ensuring the customers have reached the maximum level of satisfaction.

EFFECTIVENESS OF THE USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA IN PROMOTING A TOURIST DESTINATION: THE CASE OF DOÑA REMEDIOS TRINIDAD

Social media platforms act as a source of knowledge and influence in decision-making. Travel experiences, images, videos, and other information published on social media may affect the travelers’ destination choices for future travel.

This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of the use of social media in promoting the tourist destination of Doña Remedios Trinidad in terms of Environmental Awareness, Increase in tourists, and Employment.

This study includes the social media influence on travelers’ destination choices, the problem they encountered using social media as a guide, and significant differences were also identified according to the profile of the respondents. Furthermore, this quantitative research design was utilized to determine the information of the respondents; how respondents perceived social media as an effective tool in relation to promoting a tourist destination.

Data have been collected from One hundred (100) respondents using the non-probability convenience sampling technique. This was accomplished through an online survey questionnaire, particularly Google form.

A STUDY ON CHEMICAL CONSTITUTION OF QUINOLINE

This study investigates the chemical composition of quinoline, which is a heterocyclic aromatic molecule that has important uses in medical chemistry and organic synthesis. Quinoline and its derivatives play a crucial role in the production of different alkaloids, medicines, and antimalarial drugs. The abstract explores the structural analysis and electronic characteristics of quinoline, employing sophisticated spectroscopic methods like NMR, IR spectroscopy, and X-ray crystallography to reveal its molecular arrangement. The research examines the reactivity patterns of quinoline, namely its electrophilic and nucleophilic sites, which play a vital role in its behavior during synthetic processes. In addition, the research examines the synthesis pathways of quinoline, emphasizing both traditional and modern techniques to enhance the amount produced and the specificity of the reaction. The results of this study offer a more comprehensive understanding of the chemical characteristics of quinoline, which is essential for its utilization in the development of innovative medicinal compounds and other chemical sectors. The text outlines the potential for future research and uses that can be derived from the distinct chemical features of quinoline. It suggests possibilities for novel synthetic alterations and the development of drugs.

EMPOWERING AGRICULTURE AND RURAL COMMUNITIES THROUGH DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

To expand farmer access to ICT services, the integrated collaboration among government, related departments, academic institutions and civil society are necessary. From this, farmers can get technical support related to marketing through the use of e-commerce and compete in the global economy by extending national and international trading links. The agricultural e-commerce provides opportunity to small scale farm businesses and also helps develop entrepreneurship. The government should set up media centers and help-lines equipped with ICT such as computers, internet, telephones and fax service which receives and provides information about agriculture grants, assistance, advice on crop diseases and solutions, market feasibility, banking service and constitutional rights of farmers. The role of ICT in shaping the country’s economy through agriculture encompasses increasing productivity, work efficiencies, achieving economies of scale by relevant, quick and efficient information transfer. The government should formulate policies on budgetary provision for ICT research and development through consultation with farmers, policymakers, scientists, engineers, business communities and IT firms. Meanwhile, the focus should be on innovative and enhanced agro-business models by introducing and providing low-cost internet services and cell phones to poor farmers.
